Odd Mondays | Non-fiction November: Three Histories

November 11 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

History is the story or, rather, stories of humankind so far. In November, Odd Mondays celebrates non-fiction with readings by three writers of history: Tamim Ansary, Brandon Brown, and Julia Flynn Siler. They will read from their newest books: Tamim from The Invention of Yesterday: A 50,000-Year History of Human Culture, Conflict, and Connection; Brandon from The Apollo Chronicles: Engineering America’s First Moon Missions; and Julia from The White Devil’s Daughters: Women Who Fought Slavery in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Join us for a stimulating discussion and refreshments. Books will be available for purchase.
