A native San Franciscan, Olivia is a writer and reader through and through. Working at Folio Books—surrounded by splendid books and fantastic fellow bookworms—is a dream come true. When not helping customers, Olivia teaches composition and creative writing. She is also a long-time writer and editor for The Noe Valley Voice. She helms the paper’s “Other Voices” section, where readers can find short stories, poetry, and art. Her own short stories and poems have appeared in various publications, and she’s the author of two novels, Year of the Smoke Girl and The Flower Bowl Spell.
